Product Overview
A Transformer is an electrical device which converts electric energy from one circuit to the other circuit by electromagnetic induction. It is used in the infant warmer system to convert the electric power and it consist of primary and secondary windings. The dielectric consist of 2500V RMS for 1 minute between primary & core, primary & secondary and secondary & core. The AC leakage current to ground shall not exceed 50 micro amps for 95/115 volt inputs and 100 micro amps for 220/240 volt inputs. The transformer is constructed with thermal overload protection in primary transformer and class B insulation. It uses an insulating container and thermal cutouts are used in order to support current overload in temporary situations. Extremely simple construction ensures reliability, and hermetically sealed thermal element reduces deterioration with age. It is used in MS DASH 4000 and in Maternal-Infant Care Infant Warmer Systems.
