Product Overview
Compression springs resist force and are one of the most efficient devices for storing energy. They are used in a wide variety of applications including healthcare, automotive - for the suspension of your car, mousetraps and the activation button on ballpoint pens. This type of spring is made up of helically formed coils with pitch in-between that is used to push back on an applied force or load to return to its original position when the force or load is released. Compression springs are also conical, barrel or hourglass in shape and each shape is used for a different purpose. This compression spring is used in Aestiva 7900, Aestiva MRI and Aestiva 7100 Anesthesia Delivery systems.
