Product Overview
The Rotating Connector Seal comes as a part of the Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) module of Breathing Gas Circuit (BCG) in an anesthesia delivery machine. Excess fresh gas is released from the bellows and the gases that are exhaled from the patient are transferred from the exhalation valve to the AGSS module and are scavenged such that the patient or any medical personnel do not breathe them. The seal is used in both the active and passive AGSS modules. The gas from rotating connector are transferred into the receiver body through a retaining ring, the seal and a filter. It transfers the used gases without any leakage thus joining the filter and the connector. It provides high performance in the environments where it comes into contact with gases with pressure less than 300 psi and hence is safer to use in medical equipment.
