Product Overview
This Button Head Cap Screw is made up of stainless steel. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys, which contains minimum of chromium around 10.5%. The presence of chromium offers corrosion resistance to stainless steel and helps to resist scaling at elevated temperatures. Stainless steel also maintains excellent toughness. This screw is being used in many anesthesia machines in medical field such as Maternal-Infant Care Giraffe™ OmniBed, Giraffe™ OmniBed, Modular and Maternal-Infant Care Panda™ iRES Warmer etc. A screw is a type of fastener, it is similar to a bolt made up of metal. Screw can be used in any application joining a number of different materials together. Socket button head machine screws have a hexagonal recess and is driven using a hex wrench or insert bit. This makes this screws much more efficient than the slotted screw products as the hex socket drive has more resistance to camp out and can be used with power drivers enabling faster use and higher torque to be achieved.
