Overview
*As a blended learning Training program, the course is broken down into 3 segments:
1. Distance Learning Pack sent to candidate 3 weeks before the practical date.
2. Teams call with GE Trainer week before the practical date.
3. Practical Course (1 Day) at our Hatfield Training Centre.
Modules covered within this Training program include:
Distance Learning Overview:
1. Warmer Overview.
2. Power Distribution.
3. Heat Engine & Upper Components.
4. Bed & Base.
5. Service Model
Practical Session Overview:
1. To provide an overview of the equipment and functions and features.
2. What is included in the PM and servicing of the devices and perform maintenance checks.
3. Discuss and identify common faults.
The course will conclude with a pass/fail assessment, upon successful completion of the course candidates will receive a certificate.

Prerequisites
Required Prerequisites
Electronic qualification or relevant experience (Including Medical Equipment Safety Testing) is essential.

Technical Training
Registration:
• Training must be completed within 2 Years of Order.
Attendance:
• Certain courses have distance learning and teams call elements; all aspects of training must be attended.
Cancellations:
All training must be taken within 2 years or purchase, or equipment install signoff. Certain courses have distance learning and teams call elements; all aspects of training must be attended.
Please carefully review our cancellation policy and how it applies to your cancellation. Should you wish to cancel your registration, we enforce a time sensitive policy. If there is someone else in your organization that would like to attend in your place – this fee will not be charged. The cancelation policy is outlined below:
• Cancellations can be made by email: techtraining.uk@ge.com
•For cancellations made more than 4 weeks prior to the class start date, there is no cancellation fee.
•For cancellations made up to 2 weeks prior to the class start date, there is a cancellation fee of 50% of course tuition.
•For cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to the class start date and for no-shows (i.e., registered students who do not attend the class and do not cancel in advance of the class start date), there is a fee of 100% of full course tuition.
•GE reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any class for any reason and at any time. GE will not be held responsible for any travel costs incurred.
Low Enrollment:
• GE reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrolment.
• Classes with low enrolment 15 business days prior to the scheduled date will be cancelled.
• When GE cancels a class, candidates will be placed on the waiting list and then invited to the next available training course.
