Product Overview

The Sony UP-991AD is a compact black and white printer designed for use with both analog and digital radiology imaging systems such as mobile C-arm, ultrasound, cardiac catheterization laboratory and other compatible medical imaging systems.

•Accepts both video and digital signal input.

•High resolution of approximately 325 dpi and 256 step gradation.

•High-speed printing of approximately 8 seconds per page, making it ideal for time-critical medical applications.

•Compact design and clear visibility of the operation panel

•White back light LED on the operation panel gives you the clear visibility under dark lighting conditions

•Enhanced operability with all the operation keys on its front panel. Volume knob on the front panel allows easy adjustment of both contrast and brightness

•Automatic detection of paper or film: detects which media is loaded, film or paper automatically. User does not need to do the setting when changing the media

•Blue transparent film and black border mode: images can also be printed on blue transparent film and placed with black edges of the sides setting the black border mode ON

•Automatic media-cutting function: when printing has finished, the printed paper or film is automatically cut by the media-cutting function

•Function to lock the settings

•Multiple picture modes: single pictures and two, four, or six split pictures in one sheet in case of taking the video signal. The Multi picture button on the front operation panel to switch between a single picture and multi pictures quickly

•In case of taking the digital signal, the printer can provide two or four split pictures in one sheet. Multi picture button does not function with digital input

•Visual print quality control: optimum print settings can be compared and chosen from a ‘collage’ print of nine pictures with different values for brightness, contrast, tone or sharpness

•Panoramic print: maximum 600mm long prints in case of taking the digital signal

•Quick guide prints by the menu operation on the front panel

•Picture storing into USB flash drive: can store either the printed image, via USB or video input, or captured video frame, via video input only, on a USB flash drive inserted into the USB port on the front of the printer. Stored images can be in color provided that the Store option is set to Capture, the input signal is a video in color and Color mode is chosen
